I’m actually not, I’m a lefty yes but not far at all, generally quite centric, but lolling sat the heads falling off (no pun) at this whole situation. Huuuge over reaction from a load of angry men.
Child makes bad decision shocker “don’t let her back home”

"Bad decision" is downplaying the seriousness of what she has done somewhat.

I think changing it to "decisions", and bad to disgraceful may suit the situation a bit better.

I am no fan of Corbyn, but think criticism over what he has said is unfair when he said she needs to face questioning. Although I think it's up to her to get herself back to the UK.

I get the argument she should stand trial for what she's done in this country. IF it was the case that we could guarantee she would stand trial (which I think is impossible now because a good lawyer would argue she would never get a fair trial now due to the coverage) then I'd maybe be open to it.

But I don't like the idea of ANY country allowing terrorists in. We have enough lunatics that are born and raised here and then stay here - whatever religion, race or sex - that hate everyone else.

She joined IS. She made a decision. I don't care if she regrets it now because she's realised that it's a backward, murderous cult.

She will have to get herself to a safe country where UK consulate services are up and running, and that would apply to any of us who rucked up in warn torn area.

Yep, I agree somewhat but other than joining them did she actually commit any terrorist act?? Highly doubtful as she was pregnant 4 times in 5 years. She has made very bad decisions, very bad decisions but they were made as a child at a time when she was vulnerable. It would be really interesting to see hoe people like me would call it if she had gone when she was say 25, no longer a child. That is another story I guess.

But really, common sense should say that if you join a terrorist organisation - which is what it is, let's be honest - you commit a crime.

I honestly just don't like the 'she was a child' line. She was old enough to know what she was doing. She was old enough to know that killing non-Muslims is wrong.

The stabbings throughout London at the moment are by kids in gangs, they join the gangs, they know what they do and they carry knives, there are many organisations set up to prevent them from falling into the trap because they are misguided and lacking proper guidance. I see similar with her, she joined for reasons we do not know but obviously lacked proper guidance in the build up to these times.

The family wasn't radical. The father was the one who reported his daughter to Scotland yard.

I thought he'd been photographed at flag burning ceremonies?

Or was that the father of one the other girls she ran away with?

That’s fine, and dare I say it even Christian, but it is really about risk. If the authorities believe she poses any kind of risk to the U.K. then she should be excluded......

If there is a legal basis pete I’m absolutely fine with it , i’m Not fine with Javid doing it on a whim to garner support and attention whilst knowing it’ll very probably be reversed. By the time it’s been through the courts it’ll have cost us thousands and Javid can repeat the line we don’t talk about individual cases and he’ll have made his political captital .

two dual national Bangladeshi’s won their appeals against citizen stripping on the basis suspicion isn’t enough so we need evidence , if we’ve got evidence id happily see her in a court and also rather than the soft touch we’re perceived we’re actual considered the most draconian when it comes to citizenship stripping and that’s before this case which takes it to a whole new level .
