No but has she applied for it ? Because If she hasn’t then this will be a first is the point I was making . I know Cameron mused that this was something they’d considered but it came to nothing , presumably because of the legal pitfalls . I think dispassionately it’s an interesting watch to see how it plays out .
It seems that her lawyer is stating that she does not have Bangladeshi citizenship. At best she might be entitled to Bangladeshi citizenship, but it would amount to an entitlement rather than the nationality by birth (jus sanguinis) that she would have as a British Citizen. However it would depend on the exact details of the case - Bangladesh would give her citizenship if her father is Bangladeshi.

What complicates matters is the child as it would be entitled UK rights and I cannot foresee any court denying her the right to enter if she was with her child.

It's a relatively new power available to the Home Secretary, so it's all a little speculative.

Without seeing what he’d said that’s sort of what I was saying mate or at least I meant to

Like any legal issue I suppose, it will be adversarial. Her lawyer seems pretty confident in his position though, whereas, this has a whiff of the home office trying to get some 'tough on Islamaphobia' headlines.

Again that’s been my thoughts , I’d suspect he’s confident as there is absolutely no legal precedent for it . It’s only happened in the case of dual nationals which she isn’t , so effectively were imposing a nationality on her to take one away but without any chance in the law going through. What little I know , If I was him I’d fancy my chances .

We didn't raise the monster. Her jihadi loving kuffar hating parents raised her.

The dad isn't the benign simpering anglophile who has no idea why his daughter ran off as the press would have you believe. Hes a anjem choudary fanboy who knocked about with Lee Rigby's murderers.

Let her rot then kick her family out as well.

Also that tweets seems to imply the best way of dealing with terrorism would be to invite all known threats to these shores do we can keep an eye on them.

Which is silly.
To play Devils advocate here, if her arl fella is indeed already radicalised, then it’s a fair bet to say she was groomed from a young age into the same thinking.

She was 15 when she headed out in to the IS to marry a fighter. That is trafficking of a minor. Regardless of her reasoning, she was a child who was trafficked to a war zone to be married off to a terrorist fighter.

So she was a child groomed into a certain way of thinking then sent off into an echo chamber of extremism.

Not condoning her views, but it’s certainly not anas easy case to pass judgement on as some of the 30+yo women who end up out there then want to come home?

I've not seen anything to suggest she was trafficked - although she might be able to make a case for it, I don't think the continued ISIS sympathy will help neither will the 'living a normal life' quotes. She may have been given promises and 'groomed' but from recollection they went against their parents wishes, even stealing from family to pay for their flights and she stole and used her sisters passport.

No I think a lot of the blame was placed on our own communities rather than a specific group of people.
Kathy Evans is deflecting blame and absolving responsibility.
The IS member is a traitor of Europe and should never ever be allowed back in this country.
If the law needs changing then change it
