But Messi scores 2 goals or more in most of the games he plays, he destroys teams on his own, five goals in a single Champions League game, makes entire defences look stupid.

I think he's under achieved BECAUSE he left everton to early. I still regard bergkamp as a better player than rooney. rooney should have been the best premier league player ever but hes not, not even close.

Zidane was a true footballer. The best ever. He was graceful on the ball. Everything looked effortless.

Messi will go down as the greatest dribbler if all time. No doubt.

It depends what football you like. If you like dribblers obviously you will say Messi.

If you like shear brilliance, intelligence and technical ability nobody can touch Zidane.

No chance. Zidane could do everything left foot, right foot, headers, freekicks , volleys. He was beyond world class. Nobody is likely to ever be as good a midfield player as Zidane ever. You will never see another Zidane in our lifetime.

Messi has done enough to prove himself in my opinion and he's still only 25. I don't see why he needs a world cup to join that list.

Don't know where you got this from mate but Zidane only ever won the Champions League once, Messi has won it 3 times and will win more before his career finishes. Zidane has also only ever won 3 league titles compared to Messi's 5. I know that Zidane has international honours but Messi will still have at least 2 world cups left in him to do something and will have a few more Copa America's as well.
