The way Brazil just psychologically collapsed was amazing to see, bit like a batting collapse in cricket but not something you see all that often in football. Normally someone shows some basic leadership and backbone to pull things together but Brazil just had no one.For me, Germany humiliating Brazil is the absolute top game excluding Everton. The media worshipping Brazil constantly was really grating me, and then Germany just pulverised them, even their manager told the team at half time to go easy (I wouldn't have). Magic.
Would like to add, Morton were on the wrong end of a 10-2 drubbing against Hamilton Accies a few years ago. Unfortunately, me and the boy were there. I said to him at 8-1 down "do you want to go home", his reply was "what's the point now".Scotland 1 v 3 Argentina
Was very fortunate as a football fan to see the World champions at Hampden Park, but unfortunate as a Scotland fan to see us get pumped. A young Diego Maradona stole the show and it was a pleasure to see him in action, however, Leopoldo Luque was outstanding in the Argentina World cup the year before and I loved seeing him.
What about the mckimmie 1-0Scotland 1 v 3 Argentina

That was hilarious. You get a goal! You get a goal! You get a goal! Everyone gets a goal! I'm surprised Neuer didn't run out of his box and try to join in.For me, Germany humiliating Brazil is the absolute top game excluding Everton. Was this around May 1980? I saw England beat Argentina 3-1 but Maradonna was unbelievable.Scotland 1 v 3 Argentina

Summer 1979 I think?Was this around May 1980? I saw England beat Argentina 3-1 but Maradonna was unbelievable.
Forgot; England 2 Greece 2 with Beckhams last minute free kick at OT to qualify for the 2002 WC. Everybody forgets the MoM performance by Nigel Martyn who single handedly kept us in the game.Good, ( actually it was Crystal Palace 3 Liverpool 3 but only a complete pedant would point that out..) but not the best. I've always preferred;
FA Cup Semi Final, April 8 1990, Villa Park
Crystal Palace 4 Liverpool 3.
Best non Palace game where I was there;
Euro 96 England 2 Scotland 0.
Also enjoyed Everton 7 Sunderland 0 a few seasons ago.
Was there that day, didnt think it was a game great though. Became a good game after Sheringham scored. Brilliant at the end though.Forgot; England 2 Greece 2 with Beckhams last minute free kick at OT to qualify for the 2002 WC.
