2006 WC Australia V Japan probably me favourite.
1 nil to Japan.
4 mins to go Timmy Cahill scores the Aussies first world cup goal. 1-1
89 min he scores another one. 2-1
92 min 3-1.

Holland vs Germany Euro 88 2nd favourite.

But for pure competitive and beautiful football has to be Holland vs Argentina 98.

Every Brazil game in the 1970 World Cup Finals, except the one versus England !

Sorry Brendan that's the one that I would choose - the two best teams in the tournament meeting head on in what should have been a rehearsal for the final but for Banks getting 'food-poisoning'. \fantastic game with Evertonians to the fore for England and Rivelinho man of the match

My choice is probably influenced by me having a recording of the whole game, which I find myself watching a lot when we are crap. ie the whole of the Allardyce, Koeman years and the last two years under El Goofer.

Apart from that I would choose almost any game involving Diego Maradona

2nd leg of the CL quarter final , Man U 4 - 3 Real Madrid.

Ronaldo scored a hat trick Raul’s appendix burst the week of the game , Fergie and Beckham fell out and Beckham was benched, so much drama lol

Madness

The Classico the other year, Barca won 3-2 at the Bernabeu and Messi won it in the last minute. Very possibly the best game of football I’ve ever seen, both quality and entertainment wise.

Arsenal 2-4 Man U in 2005 might be the highest quality Premier League game ever. Great goals, plenty of action, incredible star power, and genuine bad blood.

My obvious shouts are:
89: Liverpool 0 Arsenal 2
Koff McMahon with his 1 minute finger lol.

SlippyG: Liverpool 0 - 2 v Chelsea.

'Do not let this ****in slip' :) :) :)

Impartial.

Yugoslavia 3 Spain 4 in Euro 2000.
