Putting aside club allegiances, what would you say the greatest game of football ever was?

I'd have to go for the 1953 FA Cup Final: The Matthews Final

Great game of football and the last hurrah of that era of English football before the Hungarians smashed the English footballing psyche to pieces at Wembley

The champions league final between Bayern and Dortmund was just amazing to watch imo. Keeper making a save with his face at close range to keep the score level, tons of awesome passes, high energy.

1989, last game of the season, I was at York Uni and a good friend said he had a spare ticket if I wanted to go with him. He was an Arsenal fan, but a good lad. I had finished my exams and thought, yeah, Ill go with you. My one and only trip to Analfield. When Mickey Thomas hit that winner a litle part of me became an Arsenal fan for the day.
