Doesn't score enough / isn't clinical enough for any real big teams to come in for him. But for me, he's superb and I hope he's with us for years to come. The Portuguese-language club at Everton will hopefully have a big influence... backroom staff, manager, Virginia, Richarlison, Gomes...

Too lightwewight, not pacey enough, not composed enough.


This has been a poor signing overall.

I'd take anything right now. Well not quite but about £15m.

Don't even think he's that bad really but he's our 3rd choice in his best position.

no end product.

Totally overrated by our fanbase.

He's average. Like our entire squad.
Chucking average in aswell by being kind.

I was excited when we signed him.

However every time I watch him he loses possession and contributes very little.

The talent is there, the end product isn't which I imagine is why he is at Everton.

Some go on like he's amazingly intelligent as a player, I don't see it. He gives off that vibe initially and then he falls over, mis controls it, hits an attempted "clever" ball out of play, wildly slashes at a shot.

He needs to improve, especially his consistency.

Don't see the fuss over this lad.

Players in his position need to be contributing more with goals an assists.

Maintain he needs time but if he was English, or cost £45m he'd be getting absolutely slaughtered.

Bernard has been a big disappointment.

Massive expectations and haven’t seen him contribute much. Lots of poor final balls and falling over.

Hopefully comes good.

He's like having a gorgeous wife, who happens to be a nun.

He’s too weak tbh. If you are one of the front 3 then you need to be a goal threat, and he isn’t.

Would love to see him in Siggurdsons position and another Richarlison type out wide.

Why though, he has a fantastic understanding with Digne, it's not broken, it doesn't need fixing.

Like DCL all that he lacks is goals. Yesterday he put in a fantastic shift, defended as well as attacking. Reminded me a little of Pienaar, not quite as strong, but no push over. Will be great next season.
