Don't forget though, 30 of those goals don't count because they didn't effect the outcome of the games (wonders why some people don't understand the concept of goal difference counting)

It's not just the goal difference, it's the mentality of killing games off. If you've got a player putting the second and third goals away the oppo will know they can't come back. If you've got just a goal lead going into the last 20 minutes you're always open for an equaliser as they push more forward.

It's a really baffling argument.

I enjoy watching this lad, he gets bums off seats and you should have someone who can do that, it's supposed to entertain as well.

The old quote "You are only as good as your strikers" is so true and for players like Bernard, it can effect how you are perceived by stattos, he creates chances but we don't have anyone who can slot them home consistently. If we have any ambition at all our next purchase must, absolutely must be a proven goalscorer and for a club like us as it stands, that's not an easy task, all established ones are at bigger clubs.
