Energetic J. Can't say too much wrong.

TD didn't have the greatest game but he does what he does. Spotted that he's pulled his socks up so that could have something to do with it.
Like Samson's hair in reverse. Could be onto something there.

Showed everything I expected of him tonight and played exactly as he’d played for the U23s . Got caught out once or twice in first half , notably when Williams took a booking . At U23s he’d have covered back quick enough to make the tackle himself , couldn’t make up my mind watching it whether Williams should have trusted him , probably right decision at this level. Still lots of progress to be made but he’s shown what he can do when playing in his best position , which is refreshing to see instead of him being played left or right of midfield. And with the likelihood of a few dead Europa League matches coming up he’ll hopefully get more game time soon.

We shouldn't get carried away with the youngsters. But he is basically the second coming of makelele

I got the impression from tonight's game (through some admittedly Dutch beer soaked eyes) that he was basically doing the job of two men (Gana and Morgan) on his own. I'm not for one minute suggesting that he can play CDM on his own in the PL but hopefully this may lead to the end of Everton playing 2 CDM EVERY SINGLE GAME EVEN AGAINST THE LIKES OF BURNLEY AT HOME

That tackle was superb, that was the one massive positive about tonight. That was a kid showing the more experienced pros "I don't give a **** and neither should you" and that was the catalyst for a far better performance and really gave everyone a bit of belief.

It was very much like a Tom Davies moment last season ( not the goal against City) might have been Leicester away where we won 2-0 and he came on or a game or 2 before that where you think "thats exactly what's needed"
