Dear Everton FC

I've lived in London for fifteen years now but have still tried to get to Goodison Park and spend forty quid of my hard-earned cash (not to mention hotel fees) on watching my beloved team several times each season. I also spend hundreds of quid on gear from Everton Direct. No more.

The shocking way in which you have treated the Grand Old Team board member known as "Alan Ball" - a man who puts my own "devotion" to the club to shame in his tireless following of reserve and youth team games all over the country - has left me sick to the guts and although I think I'd find it impossible to stop going to Goodison I will now no longer spend a penny at Everton Direct. I can get my t-shirts from WSAG and Philosphy Football.

In the meantime, I urge you to please reconsider this mystifying decision.

Is a great idea for a strategy: a purchasing of "unoffical merchandise" campaign, a month before Xmas.

Can only concur with everything said.
It only goes to open the eyes of all supporters as to the way we are treated by the fools who are portraying our club as The "peoples club".
Unfortunately they are NOT Evertonians and are only there for a wage,an embarrasment to the club and it's real support.
You AB are a true and proper Evertononian. Try not to let them affect your love for OUR football club.
Many true blues will be turning in their graves today.

Bally mate, hang on in there, you and the rest of us will still be here after these clowns have returned to their boxes.

I'm serious, mate. I can't bear to give them a penny right now.

100% agree, im not spending a penny on anything official: online - everton direct, in the stadium: programes, beer or food etc, Everton 1 and 2 can do one. You can take it as a given that none of the other lads i go to the games with will either. I spent the guts of 200 quid at Parkhead the other night and i wasnt the only one.

I paid for my season tickets up front, but if i was going for a half season ticket id be reconsidering.

Beyond belief this, some jobsworth will have instigated this ffs.

Hope you get your access reinstated mate, but I guess that now that you have decided to make this public you are probably thinking "feck ya."

Alan Ball not the only example of this hard nosed, couldn't give a toss, drunk on power tactics from the club:

Richard Knights, a middle aged primary school teacher and a 50 season veteran has had his season ticket away from him for being opposed to the club's free school plan.

Now that is pretty sinister.

Wow. Speechless here. That is unforgivable.

the more i read about this the angrier I'm becoming. I have just cancelled a near 150 quid order of merchandise off everton direct. Sorry dad, it's cds for xmas!! I will not spend a single penny more with the club until AB is back in his rightful place watching the young blues and keeping thousands up to date on the latest news. Despicable behaviour from the morons in charge of OUR club.
