Baines: We have no chemistry

Cart / horse. Let's WIN something before bigging up the whole 'people would rather be 6th than win a trophy'. Because trying to a semi at Wembley isn't actually winning something yet.

Agreed. But the original post isnt even cart before horse. Its shooting the horse before you even attempt to attach the cart.

I think the talk of wanting him gone regardless is mad. Its been a rubbish season, of course it has but lets wait until the cup run is over one way or another. people saying they want Martinez gone even if we were to win something is just odd to me. Its what we should all be aspiring to, to win things, otherwise, why bother?

Yeah let's sack the manager 3 days before Wembley. That's a good idea.

Question: do you want to win the cup knowing that Martinez will be in charge for all of next season?
I want us to win the cup.

I want Martinez sacked.

If winning the cup means he'll still be here next season, I'll be very disappointed.

Sacking Martinez now does not and would not affect our chances of winning the cup.

That pretty much covers it I reckon.

Even if we did win the cup, it doesn't gloss over the complete failure of the last 2 seasons league campaigns

I don't want any more of his excuses and limp roll overs to inferior opposition.

The filth won a pot and made 2 cup finals and still shot Dogleash for his abject failure in the league. If we've got real ambition we need to show it, by installing a manager who's top drawer, this fella simply isn't at that level.

It's been a rubbish two seasons with the best squad we've had in my 27 years on earth. That's the frustration. How many fake turning points and chances can he get before enough's enough? It's stupid things that people in the stands can see but his stubbornness to leave things as is for too long costs us point.

Why wait for the cup run to be over? We have been absolutely dreadful the last two games, we need to find some form going into the semi or we will be getting nothing out of this season. I really hope he turns it around because he's a nice bloke and he seems to get the club but his stubbornness and the bizarre noises coming out of the club make me think he's too far gone

I think what Martinez did today has backfirst spectacularly, he's done himself no favours and he's alienating himself from what few fans he has left.

I cant see how its backfired myself, its not like hes going to get sacked and he knows it, he could walk in the changies and facesit on Baines face and grind, would still be manager.

Not sure about that, I think the opposite, he knows he is on very thin ice and the only thing that might save him is the cup, if not he is certain to be sacked and is making last ditch attempts to shift the focus onto players, fans, and anyone that isnt himself.
