Avoid the derby or watch in hope ?

Surely, whatever game we go into, we can't have this defeatist attitude that's embraced our Club on and off the pitch. If we perform on the day we can give the best teams a game. Anyone who thinks otherwise, your 'support' isn't required.

True kop mentiality mate. thought liverpool were going in with a positive one this year though?

Well, I'm going to the home game because I have a season ticket, so I'll just have to grin and bear it while Liverpool cut us to pieces in our own stadium

You're not getting me into the away game though. No way. That's a phone off, TV off, Radio off, play some PS4 with the smallest of hopes that we don't get walloped, game right there

Whilst we are in huge need of a total overhaul, I'll travel the 200 plus miles to Goodison in the hope and expectation of us stuffing the RS with a breathless performance of skill, aggression and dominance.
I must admit I'm often sceptical about your hyper positive prognostications on the future under Moshiri but I must take a bow to your indefatigable spirit when it comes to facing the old enemy in our current form.
Once more unto the breach dear friends!

I still haven't seen a second of "highlights" from that 4-0 in April, I don't even know who scored for them, apart from I think Origi got a couple? Imagine sitting through that.

I'll go with two out of three, Esk, as there will be no room for skill in this one if we're to avoid the anticipated trouncing. We will need energy, drive and enthusiasm in abundance even if we are only just about able to keep it goalless, and the only few who qualify at present are the youngsters. In the meantime, give them plenty of lessons in man 'go to the toilet with them' type marking to keep Ferminho, Sturridge and co out of the game, together with closing down their defenders so that they'll have to resort to the long ball out from the back. Oh, and speaking of keeping their defenders busy, at some point I'd bring on Mores to partner Rom up front so that on the odd occasion we do manage a little possession, we can use him as a target to hoof the ball forward to. I think the injured Coutinho is a bonus and could prove a chink of light at the end of an 'almost like being blind' tunnel. Now go to it, boys!
