The goaaaaaaallllll did make me giggle, well up until their 3rd. Guess they feel it is only Spanish speakers who are interested in such a minor sport as soccer?

Tbh it was the way my stream was jumping at the start of the first half that really got me, still haven't seen our goal properly! At least it is better than following a match on twitter or mbm. Wish Everton had done a radio commentary though.

I'm not sure exactly, the stadium holds about 90,000 so it's hard to gauge. Quite a few Evertonians there though

Tbf quite a few of ours have already played this week - Ledson, Kenny, Davies, Connolly were all involved for 90 mins with England earlier in the week before flying out. Tough for 18 year olds to play two hard games, especially with the travel and difference in temps.

River Plate are also the defending champions.

Plus, what's effectively a midnight game for the lads; let's see how they respond in later matches.
