Attending the Dallas Cup this week

Not up to speed on players names yet - but have enjoyed your squad the past two matches.

Your #6 has been the class of the tournament so far - solid box to box and has a motor that just doesn't stop.

Your #21 is quite skillful and tricky with a ton of pace - but not sure if I see him as a PL striker.

Also been really impressed with your #14, who looks really young but was part of two goals when he came on in both games. He has pace and just flies at defenders.

Look forward to seeing more of this lot in the tournament.

6 = Ledson
21 = Henen
14 = Holland ?

.....a big step up but I think Ledson has got a real chance. Anybody who watched the U21 derby can't fail to be impressed with his quality and attitude. Proper player, not surprising he leads a very strong team at international level.

After looking at the squad - #6 is Ledson...he is absolutely top notch. #21 is Henen and #14 is Brewster, not Holland. In the last two matches Holland has not seen much time as he has come on as a sub around 70 minutes against LA Galaxy and 80 minutes against Japan.

I am also very impressed with the organization of this young squad. Back four is very solid and play the channels very well with the two outside backs offering good ability going forward.

The semi final should be a good match as Coritiba always brings a good squad.

......I wouldn't be at all surprised if we look at bringing over a youngster who has played against us and impressed in this tournament.

No one has really impressed against you. LA Galaxy had a couple of very technical kids but speed of play is miles behind your lot. The Japanese team was also very technical and didn't have anyone who I would view as good enough except for maybe their #10, who was special. Not a lot of Japanese youths coming to PL Academies though.

I have to give Chico a little credit. While I immediately sniffed out his bellendery (and called him on it), I was questioning the situation based on no immediate factual data.

So, even I was trolled by questioning my instincts. I hate you @chicoazul you bell! xx

The truth is out there.

Ledson got rave reviews from everything I've read.

I am concerned that fitness will be an issue with the squad pretty soon. That is a lot of games in quick succession.

Thanks for the info, unfortunately only our first match vs River Plate was streamed in the US so other than highlight videos haven't been able to see how the lads played in our next two games.

First goal against the Japanese side was a great individual effort by #21 Henen - its tough to tell on the highlight video but he took on about 5 players and had a quality finish. I was really impressed by him but he gives me the impression that he thinks he's above this level and doesn't put the shift in that the others do. He tends to moan when he doesn't get the ball where he wants it - but I understand he is just getting integrated into this side...is that correct?

Forgot to mention Bainbridge, who was great against LA Galaxy but only came on as a sub late against Japan. Played at RB against Galaxy but was used in the middle for the last 10 against Japan - scored a good goal that was created by your #14 Brewster.

I can see these winning the tournament as I don't think the other sides are as battle tested. Depends on fitness really - its a huge ask to have some of your boys play so many games in such a short time.

In the nicest possible way, how is this useful?

Too many people derail threads at the moment.

It is a train wreck just waiting to happen.......

Sorry Groucho its been a long day at work........

Yes, Henen was loaned in the summer with some rumours that he had an overinflated ego although he seems to have been doing pretty well in the U21s.

If you happen to get to our SF game would be grateful if you can let us know your thoughts as am guessing they will block us from streaming again. Hopefully the lads are just resting today, especially those who played for England must be exhausted!
