Remember Elliot did this, when he used to be a professional footballer.

Dont agree with that becuase feel like it gives tark a pass who i think has been poor this season. Also now just want see obrien kept at CB because think we have somethint with the lad and want to see him kick on
Tarkowski has dipped this year, but he had played well for the most part alongside O'Brien. The key denominator in poor performances is always Michael Keane. If you watch games closely, even when Keane as an individual plays okay, the other defenders and midfielders have to shift around to cover him.

He is, and always has been, a massive liability. Apart from in front of the opposition goal.

I've always said that I felt that O'Brien would be the long term Tarkowski replacement. But I come back to Keane being the issue.

When Branthwaite is back and fit, if Moyes wants Tarkowski to partner him then, JOB should be on the bench until he ousts Tarkowski. He should never be at RB again in my opinion.

JOB and Branthwaite should be the CB pairing going forward...Tarkowski gets a much needed break and Keane is a free agent to play in the Championship next season.

This side is weird.

A match like the recent visit to Nottingham I'd written off and then they get a comfortable win with Pickford barely making a save all game. On a ground where Arsenal and Man. City have been turned over in recent months.

And then you see some of the pap that is being produced at home currently.

Whatever Moyes is doing with preparation for away games he needs to replicate for BMD. Do the team stay in a hotel before home games?

Anyway considering how patched up the team was that was brilliant to watch. Harrison Armstrong going to be the best young player produced for many a year as he looked so comfortable out there today. Shows the value of his two loan spells.

Also J O'B needs to get an extended run centrally. It is time Moyes.

I mentioned this recently too, but I think it’s do with an expectation of how the game will go.

For example, Wolves / Brentford at home, we’re expecting them to give up possession and sit in; this is where we struggle and where need a Plan B.

This could even come down to personnel selection / shape adjustment: Aznou in for Mykolenko, Patterson at RB over O’Brien, Garner as a single DM with Röhl & Armstrong pushed higher up, etc.

We seem to relish playing stronger teams / games away from home, as we’re not expected to be on the front foot; this suits players like Mykolenko, and also Moyes’ Plan A approach.

I’d love to see us adopt a more attacking approach through personnel and team shape for home games where we’re expected to win.

By the letter of the law it’s offside

If Armstrong doesnt jump the goal is given
Yes, but how can a ref or lino be expected to see that every time in a crowded goalmouth? They've changed the interpretation of offside rules and we still get controversial decisions. We hate VAR, but we need it now. I could say more, but I'll stop there. I'd be here all day.
