Villa though.

The hype around them is off the charts. They're clueless if a team sits off and closes down space.

I said before the game they have good strikers but the rest are bog standard journeymen.

I expect other teams to play them like we did today and they'll soon plummet down the league where they belong.

Looking forward to their next spell in the lower leagues. I'll give it 3 seasons top whack.

Anyone saying that JOB header was offside today, care to explain how this goal for the rs was given when Diaz was miles offside and clearly affecting tarks and his ability to play the ball……

This side is weird.

A match like the recent visit to Nottingham I'd written off and then they get a comfortable win with Pickford barely making a save all game. On a ground where Arsenal and Man. City have been turned over in recent months.

And then you see some of the pap that is being produced at home currently.

Whatever Moyes is doing with preparation for away games he needs to replicate for BMD. Do the team stay in a hotel before home games?

Anyway considering how patched up the team was that was brilliant to watch. Harrison Armstrong going to be the best young player produced for many a year as he looked so comfortable out there today. Shows the value of his two loan spells.

Also J O'B needs to get an extended run centrally. It is time Moyes.

…..magnificent from players and Manager, full justified team selection, everybody fully focused. That commitment, that discipline, that organisation, they have to love playing for this manager. MOYES MASTERCLASS.

Unsung heroes, I’m a critic of Patterson but he did fine, Armstrong terrific, McNeil played his part, indeed everybody played their part. I’m going to highlight Merlin Rohl, my word that was some improvement and he looked a proper player but Garner was immense and their simply can’t be anybody else who reached those heights, especially playing on a yellow card.

I wasn’t going to have a rum but I’m having 3 :pint2::pint2::pint2:

Finally, the anti-Moyes brigade are back in their box until next time, whilst the rest know what a fine job he’s doing.
I’d echo all those words Eggs, but I’d still like to see managerial change at the end of the season. Doesn’t make me anti-Moyes though, just means I think he’s done what he was brought in to do and the next Chapter of the Everton rebuild begins the end of May.

By strikers I take it you mean Morgan Rogers as Watkins had a very mediocre season and the rest are awful. Had a look at their forum and that Guessand guy is getting slagged off to the heavens so hopefully he didn't make any of Friedkin shortlists for attacking targets.

Their CMs are good but most of them are injured and McGinn's injury swung the momentum in that area today.

They'd certainly take Garner so with them possibly offering CL football again in near future need to try and get that contract started.

Guessand came closest to scoring for them as well 🫢

I think we need Moyes for another season, we have been so unstable for so long I think we need another year of consolidation, improvement yes but a measured approach. I have seen too many false dawns over the years that I am enjoying the relative calm Moyes has brought. If Barry is going to start scoring and we can pick up a right back I think we will have a solid second half of the season. Bring in one or two better starting players and let Moyes get us into Europe and then bring in a new manager.
