That was a much better showing today than I thought was possible. As a stand-alone performance and given villas home record it was an exceptional result. When framed against the previous 3-4 games it’s bound to leave fans frustrated at what could have been.

All in all, 32 points, some good players to come back (2 of the teams best) Harrison Armstrong and James Garner are excellent. The team still need two full backs, still needs a striker (Barry is much better than Beto), still need a few squad players.

Moyes has done a really good job since coming in. Some decent runs but also rights the ship when things haven’t went well. No KDH, Keane, Branthwaite, Gana, N’diaye, Alcaraz - he might not be perfect but I’m happy enough and I’m more than happy to give him more time.

I voted for Garner but he was a very lucky boy with that push on the edge of the area.

Could easily have been a second yellow.

It is my late sister's birthday today. She was a Leeds fan as a teenager but after a visit to GP and a tour when she met Dave Hickson, she converted to the True Faith 😄

She's smiling this evening! My late Dad was also a Blue.
I went Harrison so assured for young player always wanted Ba ll

thats good of you

A very good performance where everyone played their part and you can't underestimate how good that result was as Aston Villa had won 11 straight home games. We were the better side and should have won more comfortably if not for another terrible VAR decision.
Plus Villas recent result away to Chelsea when Emery completely outsmarted Maresca in the second half. Moyes and the team were excellent today.
