I would definitely have him on a three year cycle. I wouldn't stop there on the ticket i would have Arteta, with the promise of a succession pathway, those who know have described Mikel as one one of the brightest young coaches there is.

Bring a blue home.

Thinking out loud here.

Wenger as a manager is washed up, never going to compete with the big boys again hence him leaving. I don't expect him to be succesful anywhere else.

Offering him a job here however could be beneficial to us. Give him 2 years and let him organise the club. I don't expect in that time to turn into title contenders but give him a couple of years to bring some better team players in, organise behind the scenes and get the youth set ups running more efficiently and if he does well then extend his stay.

He wouldn't be my first choice but there is lots of benefit to having him here if we as fans are willing to accept a long term plan and the bigger picture.

I would imagine a job like that would be offered at arsenal already mate.

I could see him going to psg or somewhere anyway but theoretically I could see positives here.
