yeah, I get the gist of what you're saying, but inertia means sluggish. I think you mean 'momentum'

That's not the context I'm using it in, though.

Newton's principle of Inertia is that objects resist change, once you start an object moving it will keep moving. So if you kick the ball towards their goal it remains there due to inertia.

fair enough mate. I will concede your 'once you get the ball rolling' notion.

Trouble is, that Newtonian moving inertia only continues if it is not acted upon by an external force. Lately, in Del boys case, that force is a defenders boot! lol

@SteKelly does raise a reasonable point

I do tend to have more patience with a player that is ours than a player that we're borrowing elsewhere

That being said, I don't think I've said one negative thing about Gaz Baz since he got here

Perhaps now is the time mate as he gets shattered after 73 minutes every game. No fault of his own mind you.

My point being though that if I hated loanees, I'd be slating him regardless

The only Loanee I've had anything close to a regular go at is Delo and that is because he is continuously doing stuff that annoys me

I'd be the same if he was under a full contract I think

Every time someone calls him Delo, Gerry or Del Boy my face does this:

But yeah, I prefer team work and industry to individual flair

That being said, Holland in 74 is my favourite team ever, and they were a collection of flair players. That also being said, they also worked very well as a team

I want to have my cake and eat it too

What sort of cake?

And we've said it before haven't we?

You'd have a team of Steve Lomas'.

I'd have a team of Benito Carbone's!

You'd draw a lot of games 0-0 but get the odd 1-0.
I'd score lots and concede lots!

Odds are we'd both be mid table!
