Of course mate

But there is a difference, I feel, from making a simple defensive mistake, or having a pass intercepted, than there is from running at the other team and losing possesion by refusing to pass to a team mate.

If he'd tried to cross it to Lukaku, a defender headed it away, and then they ran down the other end and scored, I wouldn't be angry, because stuff happens.

It's the fact he made a selfish decison and it led to his team conceeding a goal that annoys me
He got put on at 3-1 with 10mins to go. The game was already gone. He scored his best goal in the prem at Emirates when it was 2-1 so I think his head was battered. Lukaku is gammon in the air I wouldn't cross it to him. Osman got on before him didn't he? can't even remember the first subs to be honest ha.

I have already mentioned Mirallas

Yeah sorry you did. I just went back and read it then. If Barkley done what deulo done I guarentee you wouldn't have said it because its precious Barkley

Bad picture @Mikey_Fitzgerald sorry but its the best I can.

I don't think I blame him for shooting there, to get Lukaku into a better shooting position than he's already in, would have taken a pass that dissected 3 of their players & required absolutely perfect pace on it. He's in a great shooting position there, the problem was the piss poor shot, not the lack of a pass imo.

It's a team game at the end of the day and I value teamwork above flair

If you're Holland in 1974, you can combine both, but that's very rare

At the end of the day, I don't think he cares about Everton. I think he only cares to make a name for himself. I'll say again, I think he'd be happy with us losing 5-1, so long as he got to score a cracking goal along the way
Gee Mikey, you have it in for Del boy don't you? He's 19. Mirallas is a seasoned international player. You should direct some of your opprobrium in his egotistical direction

having flair and technical players is absolutely vital at the top level, you will get nowhere at all with 11 workhorses all scared of having the ball in the team, its about having a blend, especially in midfield

because hes not ours lad. Imagine if that was Barkley, Baines, Oviedo (fan favourites). Bet you he didn't say anything when Barkley slipped vs Villa.

Correct here though lid i'll give you that. Don't think you blame him though if he was on 150k a year or whatever at the age of 14 (nike contract.) The biggest they've ever done since Messi.

Del hasn't been at his best of late but I think his pace and running offers us an outlet and give us enough inertia to make up for bad decision making.

He scares defenders and restores the momentum our way which is more important over 90 minutes than a few bad calls.

"overcomes inertia"?

"overcomes inertia"?

You know what I mean, man.

If you run at people, you're pushing the ball up towards end of their pitch. Even if he doesn't do anything with it, he takes the ball closer to their goal and then the inertia from that means we're more likely to win the ball back higher up the pitch.

It's valuable not just when it produces goals but when it doesn't in providing an outlet, driving us up the pitch and forcing the opposition back.

please respect the no swearing rule
Ste please continue providing GOT with your footballing knowledge
Better knowledge than half the people on here. People slag our loan players (Lukaku Barry deulofeu) but don't slag Barkley off for doing the exact same? I think we all know why this is mate.
