It's really frustrating to watch Everton atm. Upto January we were playing nice possession football creating lots of chances and the defense was uber solid. Now it seams most of the same players have confidence issues. We have arguably 3 of the best dead ball specialists in the league yet when they have options to shoot in open play they are trigger shy. The amount of times Miralles, Barkley, Baines, Piennar have options to shoot and elect to pass it square is frustrating beyond belief. The defense now looks likely to concede at most set plays or when the full backs push too far forward and we get caught in possession. Piennar has been poor for some weeks now and Barkley just hasn't looked comfortable since his injury. Miralles looks on his day like he could be top notch but he's way too inconsistent. Unfortunately all these players are in relatively poor form at the same time, and thats hurting us big time at the moment. We just can't seem to be able to string together 2 decent halves of football together atm and we certainly have no plan 'B' when we need to change things around.

You can't afford to miss chances like Ross and Pienaar did. Not seen them again but Pienaar looked like he bottled his. They both go in we don't lose. Again comes down to whether it's a lack of quality or lack of bottle.

I've been a big fan of Pienaar but I'm hoping now Roberto moves him and Ossie out the midfield for next season and plays out and out threats on the wings.

I thought Seamus should of had a penalty but not seen or heard it mentioned since so I must be in the minority of one.
Hmm, I think Pienaar just sliced his shot. I can't wait until Osman and Pienaar stop playing for us. Seamus' wasn't a penalty as well. I think he just give up

That was a pathetic defensive performance. Lukaku may have gotten the tap in but Arsenal walked the ball into the net. Too many times players were just allowed walk right into our half without a challenge. Arsenal's goals were not because of their skill but our lack of.

It looked to me like we where defending our box and Arsenal players just stayed shy of our box allowing them to use the space and use width. The space they had out wide was criminal but you could also understand why we got numbers to defend the box expecting Arsenal to play there ticky tack football on the edge. We allowed Arsenal time and space with the ball and that is the last thing to do against them.

Pienaar's was a pen( ok he should have buried it with his other foot ) still a pen ,remember it? No cause no one in the team seemed arsedn b

This! Wish someone would take up moaning nasty, snidely, referee haranguing duties, no point in criticiseing it , it's now part of the game .Ive lost count the amount of penalty appeals we've had this season and the players havnt screamed blue murder. Anyone wonder why we hardly get any ? We make it easy for refs I'm afraid, ok ya won't change his mind on this one but the next ?
lpool have had more pens this season than weve had in the last 3 seasons true dat

You're a right ray of sunshine.

We lost because Arsenal were better than us.

Have to agree with this.

We didn't bottle that game. Wigan at home last season is called bottling it. The RS in the semi final the season before is bottling it.

Today we went to win and lost. More evident when we conceded 2 goals in the 80th minute due to how open we were.
