Don't be stupid. The police don't weigh these things up on some sort of points system. With or without smoke bombs we'll only be getting c 5,000 -- Arsenal can't take any more on segregation grounds and the police are more than happy to go along with this and would quote any reason in support.

However, the Club has today been informed by Arsenal’s Safety Advisory Group, which is made up of representatives from the club, local authority, police and transport that the number has been reduced from 9,000 due to fears over safety issues from persistent standing and the use of smoke bombs/pyrotechnics in the upper tiers of the Emirates stadium.

i'm sorry mate but Arsenal do have to take the blame here. They wouldnt have given us the allocation anyway. Why would Evertonians throw smoke bombs down onto other Evertonians? Why wont anyone in the 5100 have a smoke bomb/flare? Yes flares are stupid but this is not a reason to virtually half the allocation we are fully entitled to. Lets hope if it does go to a replay we return the favour. I am livid over this

that can still happen if we dont have the upper tier - i am sorry about your mate. Again, i'm not condoning the use of flares - i think we would never have got the allocation anyway. The other excuse is 'persistent standing'. I'm sorry we've been done here again

As BoysInBlue says in reply, Evertonians have already experienced having smoke bombs throw at them from people sat in the same section as them, coming from above would be even more dangerous. You might be right mate about them not giving us the full wack anyway, but even reduced i still hoped we would get than that
