Denis because he does not cost £6m and scored more.

I don't think Everton are too hopeful about the knock he picked up. In the Echo report saying Martinez was unusually pessimistic about the injury and that they would need to wait and see but it was a knock to the knee. Wonder if it's the same knee and if so is that him done for the season?

He looked fine on the bench afterwards, didnt look in pain or anything

Poor today, slow decision making, worse at holding up than I expected him to be.

He was out forever though, going to take ages to get him straight.
He doesn't have ages. He's 31? 32? And we need him performing NOW.

Prior to injury his one trump card was pace, and the signs thus far suggest that the injury has robbed him of that pace. Never wise buying "pace" strikers as they enter their 30s.

Exactly. And his pace has gone now.

Would people prefer Denis Straqualursi or Arouna Kone?
At the moment Kone looks not match fit or his knees are iffy , and he has lost a lot of pace when he was at Wigan he tore teams apart with pace, to me he was similar to the Straq today added a useful Straq value needs to score soon if playing to boost his confidence imo!
