apology from Manchester United

Anyway, we've got Roberto now and we can move away from 'we'l go with what we've got' and 'knife in a gunfight' comments and also move away from PE teacher Neville who liked to have a go at fans who travelled to Bolton in the snow in hazardous conditions.

PE teacher haha. Spot on.

Anyway, bore off Man U and Moyes. Not arsed any more, just don't expect a hero's welcome when you return.

If United were really sorry then they wouldn't have conducted themselves In the way they did in the first place. They're only apologising because Everton are playing hard ball over Baines/Fellaini. Koff.

Any way. I'm made up with Martinez so far, it's annoying to keep seeing this guy's name.

Moyes has said he was approached the week before the derby at Anfield. Forget any conspiracy, does anyone honestly believe Ferguson announcing to his club and Moyes that he was retiring months before the end of the season would have been kept secret from January til May when it was coming out as strong rumours then announced? Bull****! Not a chance in hell could something that big have stayed private for so long. The timeline that Moyes has said, that he was approached at the start of May, and within a week it was being rumoured in the papers that Fergie was retiring is the only situation that makes sense. Moyes ran his last contract down and then signed, he seemed to be doing the same again until May.

The thing that annoyed me most about it was the arrogance of Ferguson to assume he could just illegally approach a manager then tell him he's the next manager. It shows how much power he had over other clubs, over United and how he honestly didn't care about FA rules, and also how Moyes (and I assume any manager) panicked at the idea of being summoned to Fergie's house and assumed he'd have to either sell him a player or take a player Fergie wanted rid of.

I really wouldn't worry too much about this.

I'm not worried. Nor upset. Nor bitter. I'm angry that he took the p*** out of a club that he supposedly cared for. He earned fantastically well and was given 100% control. We stuck with him in the low times and I can't help feeling his insistence of waiting to sign a contract once he sees how much cash he has in January or how well the players do til the end of the season was absolute bull****.

He ran down his contract and as such we missed out on a compensation figure.

The mere idea that we had to spunk £millions on compensation for a relegated Wigan manger but the Champions and self-proclaimed world's greatest club get their successor to the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson for the square root of feck all is just a joke! And add in the support/backroom team to that.

if Moyes had even shown half an ounce of decency then we'd have got a compo figure that could have seen us go out and get someone like Leroy Fer this summer.

Fergie said he made his mind up when his sister-in-law died and his wife was alone. Now when did she die? What I found annoying what that Moyes went to his house when Fergie ask him to, so he went right away and he was thinking which player does he want now? if that was the case he should have never went to his house to discuss business. I just hope Martinez wont be at Moyes beck and call and kissing his arse cos he is after the Man u job after Moyes.

Dont worry lads, we have got Roberto smile a lot now, he buys hungry strikers and injury prone defenders.

No one arsed about his smiles mate, they are chuffed that this bloke believes in football and will also believe he can beat Man u and the rs on their day, unlike Moyes.

Fergie decided to quit in January, the same time moyes decided not to sign a contract coincidence? I think not.

Moyes and Martinez's are mates but bobby is a long way away from being considered for the mancs...

Yes and scratches his head on the has-beens DM has left him squad wise! - At least RM is playing youth DM would have never done that send out on loan e.g. Coleman a wasted season at Blackpool when we had the great Hibbo & have been left with Hietinga amazing how no club has come in for this waste of space who is on top wages!
