apology from Manchester United

Dont worry lads, we have got Roberto smile a lot now, he buys hungry strikers and injury prone defenders.

I assume you are being ironic and i am hooked. Hungry strikers? He's on Ramadan in the close season FFS. At least Alcaraz will play a full game in the premier league and was free, unlike Kroldrup.

I loved Moyes for what he did, doesn't mean he wasn't wrong. Why can't we be happy with our new manager? Moyes chose to leave us for a beer job. Should we be unhappy with his replacement no matter what he does? Good or bad?

There's going to be a lot of red faces on the Moyes FC lot who were adamant their master couldn't have been so duplicitous to run down his contract. The issue really isn't Man Utd's behaviour so much as Moyes'.

I cant believe that divvy Kenwright at the end of season club award night was gushing over Moyes, telling him his legacy was safe, knowing all he knew about how he'd been preparing to waltz off without a care in the world....and even allowed the feller to hang around like a bad smell for three weeks picking the team and trying to influence who our new manager would be.

It really is literally a *shake head* moment.

Unbelievable.

Sorry Dave, but your Moyes bashing is just fckin tedious now, he,s gone ffs!!

He managed Everton long before this forum gave you the spleen to vent your anger. I,ve been a supporter since Harry Catterick and i firmly believe (David Moyes) has been a shot in arm while he was here..

If your support of Roberto brings us the stability he did with probrably three times the funds that man had, then you can unzip and i,ll drop to my knees...

And yes, like every Evertonian i will throw my heart and soul behind RM.

they should instantly follow it up with an apology for the ridiculous offer for Baines both to the club and also to the player for valuing him to be worth so little.

the marketing dept should then have the apologies printed on good quality quilted triple ply bog roll so that we can all wipe our arses with it.

Well said.

Ok...I'll say it.

1) United won't win the title this year.

2) I think we have at least a 50% chance of finishing ahead of them.

Yeah, I've had the kool aid. So what.

More and more I think 1 is defo gonna happen.

I think it will be between City, Chelsea and if they get their signings correct, POSSIBLY Arsenal, I think even Spurs will finish above United.

2 is a bit of an ask, I would say 10%.

If Arsenal sign Suarez then I can see them challenging for the title, I can see Spurs finishing above them if they don't sign him.

But I'd agree that City and Chelsea will be right up there.

If United don't sign anyone then I wouldn't be surprised if they 'struggled'.

Talking to my mate who was a United fan, he didn't know much about Moyes but just said to him that in the 11 years that he was our manager he lost the mental battle in many, many games especially in the cup.
Dithering Dave in the transfer market as well.

I can just imagine them being down 2-1 in the Champions League at home with Moyes having no clue at pulling it back, even with the squad he's got now.

City and Chelsea both have amazing squads.

So do Spurs, but losing Bale will hit them hard, United have some awful players, an injury to RVP and losing Rooney, they are beyond bad. Arsenal have a splattering of quality, but they need to bulk up a little number and quality wise.

True.

I'd imagine it would be a win win situation for Spurs though.
It's quite ridiculous that Bale is being priced at over £80. Crazy what world we live in now. But surely with that money they could win the title somehow I think, if we had £80 million and spent it wisely even we could win the title as we wouldn't pay over the odds like City does.

It's amazing what United have won in recent memory with that squad, Chelsea have got no excuse now to win the title. They've by far got the best squad, and have done for a while now. I suspect Old Trafford plays a big role in United getting so many points at home over the last few years. And of course Fergie.

I'm just really surprised United haven't signed anyone other than that young LB back at the start of last month. They don't really have a physical CM and I'm not sure Anderson counts. They've needed to replace Scholes for a while now.

They've got Nani and Wellbeck mate, I think they'll be comfortable with that kind of forward line up.

Utd will sign players before the window closes. For teams like them the transfer windows are more a marathon than a sprint. Lets not forget they have the power to come at take both Fellaini and baines off us on deadline day if they wanted to.
