So great was the transformation last season after
Moyes took over that I thought he had changed.
I thought , wrongly, that he saw this as his last go at a club that could achieve something and that he was prepared to adopt a much more attacking approach.
Very stupid of me that. A leopard never changes their spots , it will always be safety first , no risk football under
Moyes.
He's your original steady Eddie , miles better than Dyche but cut from the same cloth.
It is unbendable that Moyes has improved the team but boy have we hit that glass ceiling with a whack.
I actually think we have some talented players bar the obvious deficiencies and imbalance in the squad that are all too apparent to us but that Moyes seems blind to.
I really hope that we get the chance to see how good they are and how far they can go next season under a different manager.
I'm intrigued what someone like Iraola or Glasner would do with this group.
