Why do people keep going on about him having no say on transfers? Absolutely baffles me because if they knew anything about him they’d know there is no way in hell he’d be here without having some kind of input.

Moyes doesn't work anywhere where he doesn't have input into the recruitment, that's just how he is, old school manager. He isn't one of these modern coaches who just wants to spend all their time on the training ground with players and leave the transfer stuff to higher ups.

Honestly, if the club announced the departure of both tomorrow, I could only be cheered.

Between them, they have had a disastrous summer and if anyone thinks going out of both cups at the first time of asking to Wolves and Sunderland is remotely acceptable because we're bobbing around in 12th or 13th, well, standards are through the floor among this fanbase.

Give it a few more weeks and we'll be 15th or 16th. This team is not getting a sniff at Villa. Then it's Leeds in the Dom Derby. Imagine...
