Angus 'happily dissatisfied' Kinnear

Someone clever than me could put the Gladiator gif ‘Are you not entertained?’ and replace it with ‘Are you not Happily Dissatisfied?’

Don't do gifs, so this will have to do.

Interesting to see that the club did actually go on record as saying they expected Aznou to contribute this season, and all the people who've spent all year saying they never intended him to play were - as I thought - talking rubbish.
Was never having that. The presentation and interview when he signed was very obviously pointing to him being a first team player that would be getting on the pitch regularly throughout the season.

Yep. Quite awkwardly Aznou said it was Moyes that convinced him to sign, and told him exactly how he would fit in. And how he was looking forward to playing in the Prem..

I think it’s impossible he’s at the club next season tbh, have to loan him out. Suspect he goes to Spain and we never see him again.

Could turn out to be the complete opposite of course but I've always just had a weird gut feeling he would turn out a good player. Even in brief moments I've got to see him play you can tell he's got quality on the ball.

Moyes was never having him at left back with his size and build though so really is odd if Moyes had any part in bringing him to the club. Would like to see him get a chance next season if not a loan but think he'll be desperate to get out of the club having spent the whole season in limbo. Not on the bench, not even playing for the u23s.

Tbh I’m not having him as a left back (yet) either, but absolutely should have had minutes on the left wing based on the one appearance he actually made.

Tbh a left back that mostly attacks in the last 10-15 when/if we chase a goal is great and will likely work, we just haven't even done that. I'd get some structured path (cameo on the wing -> cameo at LB -> cup start -> frequent sub and occasional league start for example) to the first team but he's got literally nothing.
