What’s not to like when you compare to what we’ve got!/trying to get rid of?

“They would admit I’m coming here to be a squad player."

Like, what's that about? I don't think I've ever heard a new signing say they're here just to be a squad player.

Think he's just being honest/realistic really. He does go on to say that he hopes he can work his way into being an important part of the team. I imagine he fancies he can do it but doesn't want to go shouting it from the rooftops.

Agree but i reckon he probably knows he is going to be used as backup, he would really need to borrow some of Jurgens happy juice if he is going to start on a regular basis imo.
