The real world mate, were people see Silva for overhyped flavour of the mouth tosh that he is. How can you say how good Silva is when he's only ever stayed one single season at most with ever club he's been at since Estoril when he first stated put and that was only because nobody wanted him at the time.

He’s shown enough at his clubs to get these moves. He’s already been subject to a world record transfer bid and will walk into another job. Even Watfords owners and fans still think he’s a very good manager.

No one wants Dyche he’d be out the door to the first semi big club who came calling, just for the wage increase alone, they just haven’t come calling.

He knows Burnley will drop like a stone very shortly and will never come back to these levels so he’ll be desperate to get out now whilst his stick is high.

Even desperate Everton offered it to Sam before Dyche. There’s loads of rubbish managing in this country. The likes of Sam, Pardew, Hodgson, Lambert, Southgate, Moyes, all at bigger clubs than Burnley and all jobs Dyche would have took if offered, he just never did get offered.

Silva’s CV gets knocked yet it’s still miles better than Dyche. Silva is a manager who plays football the right way and will go on to bigger and better things. Even in the last 8 games, when he and his team have been on strike they’ve took more points than Burnley.

Dyche will disappear without trace.

There is no comparison, Silva > Dyche, all day!

There’s very little he can do if the players spew it, he’ll try but if they’re not interested then he’ll carry the can.

Those players come in from Europe and see Watford as a chance to prove themselves capable of playing for the big English clubs. Yet Watford are refusing world record bids from the first big ambitious club that comes calling for there manager. It doesn’t send out a good signal and has probably deflated everyone at the club.

Those who have spoken, have certainly backed the manager on this anyway.

We seen Lukaku sulking last spring to get his move. It’s far easier for a player to down tools than a manager.
I think holding on to Stones caused a similar situation for us. I've changed my opinion on this because now I think we just have to accept our place in the pyramid and when a player wants to go we should make it happen. It makes no sense to keep a player for an extra year or two if it means putting off other players from joining.

@Mikey_Fitzgerald I suspect saying Dyche is better than Silva will be vaulting gold in a few years.

...and sticking with a poor manager is not an option.

Ok, we'll be holding onto Allardyce to the summer. Then - if we cherish this football club - he has to be shown the door.

We're a laughing stock under Allardyce.
Say we were able to get an agreement with Silva to wait till the summer would you prefer us to wait or just make the change now?

Ultimately I would allow Silva to decide but I think I would prefer us to do it now although not sure.

I'm actually embarrassed that anyone would seriously want Marco Silva at this club. It's tragic and shows just how far this club has fallen. If we wanted a manager who's won trophy's in crap leagues then we could of kept Koeman!

Dyche most definitely won't disappear should Burnely go down at some point. He'll find work at Premier league jobs and do well for then. Silva on the other hand will be remembered as the mercenary who fluked a couple of cups in crap leagues before showing up at Hull and not stopping them from being relgated only to then go to Watford fluke a decent start before being found out.

Silva won't last longer then one year at any club he takes over. Frankly I don't want either Dyche or Silva but if the choice was between the two its not even a question. It's hilarious how Sliva already has a devoted following prepared to fool themselves into thinking that this clown is a good manager!

There is no argument to be had, Silva trumps Dyche all day long in every aspect of playing togger.

You clearly don’t rate Silva but comparing him to Dyche was 1 step too far and couldn’t be ignored. I’ve made the point now, I’ll let this one go to save you further embarrassment.

If you like mate. Only one who should be embarrassed is you for rating Marco Silva.

I'd let Silva in now to make sure he has advanced info on the squad and who he wants shut of in the summer.

Agreed. If we got him in now he could probably attract a decent LB. The guy was a director of football before a manager.

I actually want rid of Walsh more than Big Sam. Every day he's at the club is just galling.
