Alan Smith

He'd better take the above average squad player wages (20+g's) cos if he thinks he's a 60g a week player, he's got another thing coming.

He's an decent player (espeically at the price branded about). He was doing fine at Manure, getting regular games till he bust his leg. He's been cripoed with injury at Newcastle too, just getting back to fitness last season.

Its a matter of where you play him. Roeder didnt give him enough games being he was injured, Big Sam played him in central midfield, and Keagen tries mixing him between midfield and support striker. He's [Poor language removed] in CM and not a very good striker. He's be good back up for Timmy Cahill though. He's in no way a replacement for AJ though.

IF we sign Alan Smith my season ticket will be for sale on Ebay, no offers refused.

well this summer has been the lowest ive ever been as an everton fan.
its been nothiing short of rotten.

i know we need players and i know smith for such a small fee is good.

but after the utter shambles of this everton summer im left in such a rotten mood that if the best the club can come up with right now is alan smith then i fear i would want to personally stick him up kenwrights arse .......... sideways.

it may be unfair on smith but i cant help it at the moment.

the toffee in me needs a confidence boost and a 1.75 million buy for a newcastle reject is just like a red rag to a bull at the mo.
