Couple of assists against Lille, assist against Chelsea, played a big part in Kone's goal against Newcastle and he always puts in a big defensive shift even when he's having a turd game. Wolfsburg is a prime example of that.
Not saying he's great, or even good. There's just a big overreaction on here about him from some posters.

He's by no means in the same category of war crime as Tim Howard, for example.

Big window for Martinez IMO, unless he unearths more of the ilk of Lukaku, McCarthys and less Atsus, Alcaraz's he will be in danger of getting a bad rep from our fans for being able to spot a player.
