Glad to hear they all got out safe and well. I know I wouldn’t wanna be on that last plane out of Kabul.Thankfully it looks like the Irish Rangers Wing managed to get everyone on their list out of Kabul. They were supposed to be going out on US flights but in the end most went on a French flight with the rest going on a Finnish military flight - the first flight out after the bomb today.
Probably not a coincidence but Macron is in Dublin today for meetings with our Government.
Disappointingly it apears there is now about another 20 or so Afghans with Irish residency still in Afghanistan.
Apparently the British military (who the Ranger wing train with from time to time) were a huge help as well.
Jesus how dumb do you have to be to think this was a good idea
I believe they went to see family they had not seen in years. Very sad all around.I would assume they have gone there to preach christianity under the guise of "humanitarianism".
Be interesting to see the stance the USA take after they have lost so many personnel today. If they just get off with their tail between their legs then it sends an incredible message to the world that they are so weak, you can pretty much do as you please with no reprisals.
Ok mateno, it doesn't
I probably don't see it as black and white as you, but that message is already out.Be interesting to see the stance the USA take after they have lost so many personnel today.
