You have to ask though how long would the troops need to stay… another 20 years ?? 50 years ??
Yep….as I’ve said before, these troops, and there where few of them, have to based somewhere anyway…..

Exactly, a stalemate. Thrown away by a president who has no clue.the Taliban weren't attacking those few troops pete

How long have they been in South Korea? They’ll do it when it suits.Yep….as I’ve said before, these troops, and there where few of them, have to based somewhere anyway…..
what's happening is terrible but there are some bizarre takes on here today.Correct, but there was no need to actually remove the few troops that were still in Afghanistan. The ANA were doing all the heavy lifting and suffering any casualties.…
It suits because the south korean government hasn't fallen to the north. How long have they been in South Korea? They’ll do it when it suits.
Its disgusting that they've let the Taliban take over again. Afghanistan had moved forward massively over the last 20 years. Now its straight back to the 90's..
So so sad for the Afghan people..
Miss the point but okIt suits because the south korean government hasn't fallen to the north.
honestly....
It suits because the south korean government hasn't fallen to the north.

Exactly. They have circa 50-75k stationed in Korea, don’t think the north plan on invading anytime soon. So between 2.5-5k in Afghanistan is a wise investment if you ask me.And Afghanistan hadn’t fallen to the Taliban…..

I know, and for good reason…..

No, the reason was because Afghan forces were backed with us military planning and air support. Take all that away and you have what’s happening right now.the reason being that Trump had signed a deal with them and was delivering on it
