Obvious response is not to let any players from
AFCON participants leave their club to participate, who knows what will happen next time

BREAKING: BOLTON SUCCEED IN RELEGATING EVERTON 28 YEARS AFTER THE EVENT...
Two things boil my piss. This old story, and kettles in hotel rooms.

As I've constantly reminded bitter Notlob fans (are there any other kind?) - if you want to re-referee that match, then the goal (which did cross the line) doesn't stand due to a foul in the build up. So get back to waxing lyrical about being the cotton mill capital of the UK 100 years ago. And wax yer ma's back while you're at it.

Bringing Collina out of retirement for that Villareal game? Okay, that's 3 things....

Don't think anywhere that football is played can hold any moral high ground over Africa.
FIFA, and Infantino, following Blatter, are the capstone on corrupt football throughout the world.
It can never, at 'elite' level, be considered a sport anymore.
Am I the only one utterly, utterly shocked at recent comments by Blatter:

"In January 2026, former FIFA president Sepp Blatter advised fans to "stay away" from the 2026 World Cup in the United States, citing concerns over the administration of President Donald Trump. Supporting comments from anti-corruption expert Mark Pieth, Blatter questioned the suitability of the U.S. as a host country, according to reports in ESPN Philippines and Tages-Anzeiger."

When Blatter calls out corruption...

Oh and Iran did qualify for the World Cup. Drumpf yesterday said he can't guarantee their safety (due to play in LA and Seattle I think). Infantino, the phallic-headed loon, said they can't switch games to Mexico as it's too late...

But if a team and their officials can't have their safety assured by a host country, surely the merits of that country to host have to be called into question? No doubt FIFA hastily re-writing their rules as we speak....

Why do you pee in a kettle?

An absolute disgrace. Games should be won on the grass, not around tables of men in suits. Reminds me of a story Alex Iwobi once told about a team in Africa loaning out a player, only for the player to then be sold by the team he was on loan to. Considering the elite footballers Africa has produced, the system itself is corrupt to the core. It's sad because Afcon as a competition is ten times cooler and more exciting to watch than the Euros.

Absolute solidarity with Idrissa and Ndiaye, two great players and yes... champions, regardless of what this ruling says.
