Its a fair point, he didn't have to give a Del Monte 'yes'.He could have just vetoed their signings then, he’s admitted he had the final say on all transfers.
Why are people trying to make excuses for him in relation to transfers?
Just what we didn't need with those results.Comments like he's an international and played in Germany and Spain are rather misleading when you break it down. He's played two games for Morocco against lesotho. He made two sub appearences for Bayern. And his spell in Spain on loan consisted of 8 games where the team he played for lost every game and conceded over 20 goals.
He's a young player and he's got that going for him but lets not tart it up that he's an international who's performed in two good leagues.

I think the context you're saying it in is the key thing though. Saying 'he's an international who's played in La Liga and Bundesliga therefore he's clearly amazing and we need to start him every week' is clearly daft. Saying 'it's not like he's a complete punt we've picked up for 250 grand from Cheltenham Town, he's a £10m signing who's played for his national team and has some top level league experience I'm quite surprised he's not played a single minute of first team football yet' is a bit different.Lol
I dont really get posts like that though on a forum full of Everton fans. Who's it trying to kid. Oh he's an international who's played in the Bundesliga and laliga. That could just as easly describe Toni Kroos.
The headline and the breakdown are worlds apart.
We've bought a kid who isnt ready.
Thats it.

Getafe a probable destinationSadly I think you're right that Moyes will keep it safe. I fully expect Aznou to be loaned out in January at this rate

Was thinking thisWell what's the reason
Well, it's going to be interesting to see if he does go on loan. If he goes to the continent, I think we can wave goodbye to him being with us for too much longer. He'd possibly be best served by going to the Championship, but whether he would agree to that is another matter. (And whether a Championship club would want a physically under-developed left back with questionable defensive experience is another matter.)
If he really is seen as a prospect, his best punt would probably be staying and soaking up as much as he can from Baines (who also wasn't Charles Atlas but had an excellent career).
This‘Not physically ready for the PL’
Who the hell signed him as a first team player then and why?
