2025/26 Adam Aznou

Would you rather these players played when they aren’t ready/good enough yet? There’s a reason James Garner was played at left back and it probably isn’t the manager’s fault
None of it’s the manager fault then, sound.

He signed them, he signed off all transfers, so it is his fault if they are not useful to the squad/team NOW.

Read the post I replied to, aznou was doing fine til Moyes got hold of him.

He wasn’t really pulling up trees. He would have been kept by both/either if he was.

There’s a difference in signing a youngster on a 4 year deal and signing a PL ready player as a teen. Yes the manager “signed it off” but no one knows on what basis. He likely won’t be here in 2 years but hopefully players he signs now will be. That’s good management. It isn’t always about the here and now.

From limited appearances including in the u21s, he hasn’t shown he’s ready.

We’ve handled him appallingly, same as Dibling.

It’s ridiculous from Moyes.

….you clearly didn’t watch his U21 appearances. I think it was Bradford away and he was woeful, looked a long way short of the required level. His last appearance was his best so maybe Moyes is handling him just right.

Posters who clamour for him to play would soon be complaining if he started games and cost us points.

If he is so bad that he can’t possibly become competent enough to play a single minute of Premier League football in the space of 6 months, why on earth did we buy him?
Calling him a turd was harsh by me.
But he did look way out of his depth when I saw him, and admittedly I only saw him in that game.
He must have shown something for us to sign him.
Maybe Moyes is thinking he needs building up, and given time, next season maybe.
