2017/18 Aaron Lennon

Think he is boss. Every team has industrious players. Might not be the most skilful or very best going forward/back, but he hassles and works hard but he is talented at both. Brings balance to the team and allows others who aren’t as industrious more time to do the things he can’t. Of all the pace options we have, he is the most dependable and I’d have him above Vlasic, lookman and probably even Bolasie any day because you know why you are getting with him.

Aaron Lennon is a great asset to our club. There are players in the first team who for the past two seasons have CHOSEN to under perform simply because they didn't like the manager/tactics. Whereas Lennon, despite suffering a mental breakdown fairly recently has returned to the first team and been a solid squad player. He has added a much needed injection of pace and industriousness to a failing lacklustre team at a time when it was sorely needed.
I doubt that even now he is fully recovered from his illness but he still manages to produce solid displays despite not getting a regular first team spot.
Well done I say, he is a credit to himself and the club.

Agree

Has pace, probably one of the best carriers of the ball in the team, has a great work rate attacking and defending, gives 100% for the team and seems to enjoy being at Everton. He's not like Messi but who else is? If he can add some more goals and assists to his game he'd be a very important player for us.

His usefulness expands beyond the usual "tries hard for the team" plaudits imo. He's fast, can skin his man and provides excellent defensive cover which is great if you have young fullbacks having a poor game or struggling with a particular opposition player. He's also one of our only genuine wingers. There's no need for pats on the head, he's an excellent squad player whose performances don't diminish because of a lack of gametime or a falling out with the manager. Keep.
Well said.
