It's difficult, Lennon has seized his chances well recently but Del is also a fantastic player but offers less work rate off the ball. And we know Del wants to be playing his football.

It's a squad game and hopefully both get used sensibly and both get their opportunities. I'd love to see Del tried in the No10 role but that would involve shifting Barkley back and currently I don't think hes good enough at pressing to play alongside Barry who lacks legs, or McCarthy who needs the discipline of someone like Barry.

Excellent performance, I really think he should play more often than not.

I've said before Deulofeu is the more exciting option that we all want to see but in terms of 90 minute performances and winning football matches Lennon shades it right now.

He's never been the most prolific, but he does offer more than some people think. He's more of a right midfielder than a right winger, I'd say. He's not as good in and around the box as Deulofeu but he's better covering the full back and offers more defensively.

I agree with all of this but you never know, if Ross was played alongside macca that discipline might develop out of necessity
