Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

Amazing what a bit of direct pace can do for aside that over passes until they have nowhere else left to pass.

I really hope Martinez has learned from this seasons mistakes and will not revert to type again.

Get Nolito in if Kev is off and get Lennon for the other side. I think it's fair to assume that McGeady's days are numbered.

So who exactly will be winning us the matches that we don't play against a man united vulnerable to the counter cause of their high line?

Your username suggests you might be a bit biased mate ?

Hopefully Steven will be with us and fit next year to show what he can do. Pienaar undoubtedly has skills that Lennon doesn't possess, but Lennon on loan has in many ways, turned our season round. If he'd been available for the Europa games then we may well have progressed a little further, equally, we might not have, we'll never know.

Must admit really wasnt overjoyed with his signing in January.
Got to say the lad has to be be 1st on the teamsheet now.
His workrate is infectious, frightens the life out of every defender that comes up agst him.
Couldnt give a monkey's if its 7 mil ,whatever is agreed he's well worth it.

You're right mate, Martinez wants absolutely no pace in the side at all, he wants all of our players to be slow and laboured. The way we played today, he absolutely hates that.

FFS.

Since he's been in the team he's been the most consistent player.

Brings a lot to the team not only with pace and ability on the ball but his work off the ball, too.

It's a yes from me.

have you got the hump mate ?

I guess the fact that Lennon has started in the last six league games must have passed you by.

He defo has the hump.

Anyone who's watched us since Lennon has joined and doesn't see the difference he's made is either a kopite posing as a blue on here or doesn't know football and should probably just be put on ignore.

The lad just turned 28...prime time. Do one Zat...still have you on ignore xx.

Interesting one this. Will he carry on in this vein if we sign him on a permanent deal. I think he would. His work rate and pace can't be questioned. His final ball can be perhaps. However, as some have already said, his pace opens up the pitch for us. Also, Coleman seems better since he arrived. If the price is right we should try and get him. Especially with Pienaars diminishing influence and if Mirallas goes.
