Aaron Lennon ( On Loan January 2015 )

How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

Works very hard he's an outlet. I think everyone's in the same boat in me saying if he can perform with the energy and commitment he's got last few matches next season am so on then I would definitely take him for the right price.
However he's just 1 winger we need another 2 at least with mirallas more than likely moving on. Astu going back. McGeady is ... Ye so we need a revamp in that area of the pitch.

Played Aaron keep it up!

Lennon has played well but I would still go for Del Boy, if possible.

Also, I agree with Tubey. However if EFC and Lennon could get together and stitch up Spurs then lets do it.

It's a tricky one with Lennon. Are we going to be moving forward signing Lennon? Not so much imo.

However as stated above, we need a revamp in the wide areas. Hopefully by hook or by crook Mirallas stays (he's a very good player) I also think pienaar will stay another year yet. From there if we could add Lennon AND say Deleufoe or Konoplyanka whilst moving on McGeady, I think that would be good business.

Moving McGeady on would also give me a little faith back that martinez knows what he's doing and realises the quality needed to play for a top side

He's slightly better than the donkeys we have on the flanks at the moment (ignoring mirallas)...doesn't mean we should sign him.

It just shows how poor our other options are.

It is still a step forward to replace the donkeys we have is it as long as the fee is fair. And he is not a replacement for Kev then it is ok for me we need a bigger name.

If Levy doesn't mess us about on the size of the fee, then yes I think we should try and go for him. When he gets the ball the crowd sit up and take notice. Not many players have achieved that lately. Yesterday was a prime example. Only Lennon and Ross looked likely to create.

Everyone?

No.

Think everyone is in agreement that he should sign providing he isn't Mirallas's replacement. Although I suppose it depends on if Martinez is gonna continue to play with 1 winger next season if that will be the case or not.

The misguided on here who think that Mirallas will be at Everton next season need a reality check...for more than one reason.....he is a 60 minute player at best and we need players who are fit enough to play 90 mins, he is not committed to the cause, only to his own self interest, he shows flashes of being very very good, but can be dross a lot of the time(this sums up his career and is why he is currently at Everton and not at Barca , Real or Chelsea. etc.), and if we are to have moody sods in the team, I want the sort of moody sod who will run through a brick wall for Everton, not the Mirallas type. We should move on.

My mate whose a Spurs fan said that the fee they want for him is reported to be 6m. I guess that's a fair price given his age/experience and what he brings to the squad. I think Martinez will first try and get Gerry back first and then maybe go in for Lennon.

With Coleman and Lennon on the right hand side and McCarthy coming across to help, the left side of Southampton had at least 2 players snapping a at their heels and a third ready to come and help. Tenacious as anything.
