How much would you pay for Lennon in the Summer

  • Up to the rumoured 6 or 7 million - worth every penny

  • No more than 5 million - he's OK, but not worth any more

  • No more than 3 million - he's got no end product ffs

  • Wouldn't take him on a free, he's badly gash

  • Stop asking me questions and stick the grill on

Works his socks off and coleman seems to be more prepared to get forward when he's in the side. Just about worth the 6 million in my opinion but no replacement for mirallas
 
Reminder: He's playing for a contract. This Aaron Lennon we're seeing now was nowhere to be seen for a long time at Spurs.

I think he's playing well, but I can't say whether he's worth a permanent transfer or not, as there's every chance that an Aaron Lennon on a four year contract is very different to the one on a six month one.

So basically, it's a 50/50 whether he's worth a transfer to us, but what I will say is that he should be dirt cheap, as he's surplus to requirements at Spurs and his form for us should be irrelevant to the price if the player wants the move and Spurs clearly don't want him for the purpose of their active squad.

Remember the last time we had a winger on loan from Spurs? Was amazing during the loan spell, been sh!te since we signed him.
 
Think everyone is in agreement that he should sign providing he isn't Mirallas's replacement. Although I suppose it depends on if Martinez is gonna continue to play with 1 winger next season if that will be the case or not.
 
Can we sell McGeady to some sucker and get Lennon in for the same money/just a little bit more? If so, DO IT FFS.

I think it should be noted that he is a saleable asset so we are protected there in a way we aren't with Barry, even if he turns out crap, some team like Hull will still pay 6m for him...
 
Little terrier isn't he. I like him.

Agree with what @Tubey said though, he's playing to salvage his career. If there was a guarantee that we were gonna get this same work rate from him for the next three years then it'd be a no brainer.

I'd probably take the risk with him. But we need a real quality winger in on top of that.

yeah he's been a disappoint for me as well. doubt we'd get anything for him though, only think celtic would pay anything to bring him home and thats if they even want him back

Think even roberto has finally seen the light on this one now - hopefully we've seen the last of him !
