I don't think Coleman is a premier league standard right back.
I hope he doesn't start in the derby, not at right back anyway.
i thik thats harsh, hes maybe not a right back for a top 6 side but hes capable of playing in this league imo
I agree apart from a few lapses he played well yesterday .Distin was good yesterday and is a strong point of our team. I have no more to say on the matter.
Good point the centre of midfield is extremly weak with no gibbo or screech. The reason Distin got a recall is because Johnny was extremely poor against wigan, I have no problem players getting dropped if they are not playing well, why the same doesn't apply to midfield is baffling.
As for Coleman looking shifty as well from my point of view it's down to the central midfield of Ossie and Nev the are being pulled all over the shop but not doing anything in particular and leaving gaping holes which exploit our back four.
You can't expect to let teams have wave after wave of attack running straight through the midfield and expect the defence never to make mistakes.
The worrying thing is for me that it's Wigan and QPR that have destroyed our powder puff midfield and unless changes are made I'm dreading playing the more clinical attacking sides.
