A Message from Bill Kenwright to Evertonians on the club website

or the Southampton Chairman as long as BK supports RM - The team will move on cash is nice, but at least he is an Evertonian at the helm - If he does sell our club - I feel it will be to the right new owners!

He's going to have to do something soon though mate, he's 68. If he manages to sell the club for £125m, he'll do well to spend all that before lights out. Just sayin...

Yeah, Blue Bill calls himself it in just about every media interview he does.

"You don't get a bigger evertonian than me..."

you're not wrong:

i admit i cringed.

I've said before that the man has my support until the end of the summer transfer window, if he hasn't backed Martinez properly to challenge for top 4 then the chairman's lost me. But he's got that much time left for now. Let's see how he does.

Green & Earl would cop most of that tbf, and see a large profit on their shares which they 'only bought to help out an old mate' like.

Mind you Bill will still make a tidy sum. The Club could have been sold years ago if the price had been realistic.

But then of course he has been unable to find a buyer despite looking 24/7........

Thats the exact opposite of what was said by him at the Phil GM.

He told us all he controls the boards direction.

You claim he's a liar but take selective comments as being gospel when suits, therefore your view is both selective. & hypocritical

The facts are simple . A 24% shareholder doesn't control the majority , he needs their agreement before he can implement anything

To potential investors who have no interest in the football, history, and passion for a sports club, investing is just a pet project isn't it?

That would narrow it down to rich Evertonians if we wanted total trust in them, and to see the passion we have, that Bob has haha.

But to me, It's a gamble, as the game is uncertain from one week to the next. Surely, if you want to make money there are better ways to invest, like a Casino. :)

Guess what, Bill, we're all feeling pretty good about the club these days. Come back when you have something important to say. Like you've sold the club.

really is this.

well penned statement but I can't help feeling a lack of sincerity. It's difficult to ignore the lies / deceit / broken promises etc and given the club's current upward trajectory and unquestionable appeal to some uber-rich type looking to buy his / her way into the Premier League, why has this person not stepped forward ?

If not now then when ? and why not now ?

Ww are currently having a pretty succesful season with a new manager which is fine.

But we need more for our club, what are the board's plans for next year and the one after that, ad infinitum. What of the long term future of the club that is a worrisome matter. The current lot have nothing in place to ensure the survival of Everton. Oh yes Bill came out with a patronising new year message but so did Cameron, Osbourne, Clegg, Millband, & Balls, the difference is each of them has plans for the future ( at least they have plans of a sort) unlike our Bill & co who have nothing.

What will our kids, grandkids be watching and from where. This is thing of importance to me.
