I've found if you jumble up the letters in Bill's heartfelt message that it forms the lyrics to Jesus Christ Superstar

is the greatest living Evertonian, last weeks pointless loser and all round raconteur perhaps really our Messiah ???

EitC is a worthy endevour and football clubs shouldn't just take the millions of £ out of the community they should use their status for good.


So I'd ask people to focus on long term financial issues like commercial revenue and the stadium without selling our soul (renames and so forth).

Rather than pick and choose with community charity works.

It certainly is a worthy endeavour, but I am quite sure Bill didn't mean to say that those working in it were "never satisfied". I think he meant to say that they were "nothing but the best".

I've supported the blues for over 50 years. Seen them win 4 titles and many cups. Seen some great football and some utter crap. Supporting a club is never just about just winning as no one can always win, as a few Utd fans will shortly be finding out.........
