Thats a betting mans fantasy yes. That would be one hellawa twist eh.

they've got way too much ground to make up yes, but because the baggies lost, it didn't mean 7th is secured, especially seeing as the team below them could be closer to us if they win their games in hand. who knows with our injuries ha

It would be big big shift in forms if that would happend and if it infact would happend we really couldnt moan about it because this is totally in our hands.

There are a lot of people confused by the false belief that there is a hard limit of 7 spots in Europe for ENG.

Think your the one confused mate, there us a hard cap next season o. 7 teams in European competition, 4cl, 3el, or 5cl and 2el.

Check the rules as you seem to be confused.

I've re-checked, the rules allow up to 9 teams (5 + 4). Current CL Regulations can be found here. The relevant section is Article 3.09c (top of pg 13)

If the association is entitled to four places in the UEFA Champions League and neither titleholder qualifies for the UEFA Europa League through its domestic championship, the lowest-placed of the association’s UEFA Champions League representatives is automatically transferred to the UEFA Europa League (into the UEFA Europa League group stage and the access list will be rebalanced accordingly). In this case, the association of the titleholders is entitled to one additional place (total of five) in the UEFA Champions League and one additional place (total of four) in the UEFA Europa League.

Cool document mate, you should ring up the Spanish fa now, tell them that they got robbed of a Europa league spot this season when they got an extra champs league spot due to sevilla winning the Europa last season and subsequently lost a el spot.

Note for the future mate, if your gonna post stuff as certain, be sure you understand the rules your quoting

CL Regulations Article 3.09c refers to the maximum number of clubs an association can have in Europe. That single article does not cover every situation.

In the case of Sevilla/Spain this season I refer you to Article 3.06 of the Europa League regulations - found here

The UEFA Europa League titleholder is admitted to the UEFA Champions League, at the entry stage determined by Article 3 of the Regulations of the UEFA Champions League. If the UEFA Europa League titleholder qualifies for the UEFA Europa League through one of its domestic competitions, the number of places to which its association is entitled in the UEFA Europa League is decreased by one. The created vacancy is rebalanced accordingly and priority for the UEFA Europa League is given to the domestic cup winners (in accordance with the entry stage as per the access list).

Mate I understand the regulations, and your incorect, unless every commentator it has also misinterpreted it.

I honestly dont see your point, if Leicester win the cl, for example, one of the top 7 will be omitted.
