No offence, but I straight up think this a terrible post.

We want to win any competition we are in. I look at the teams left in the EL and I don't see anything that would terrify this current Everton let alone one with a full season under its belt with our new boss and hopefully major recruitment in the summer.

You mean the team that only has 1 striker?, and when we lost him to injury we couldn’t score 1 goal against our rivals Chelsea & Spurs despite dominating???....or the team that lost a couple of defenders to injury and were hammered by Liverpool?.....
And where’s this major recruitment coming from?, is Bill gonna magically find £40m in his back garden shed?....
Look I think with a bit of luck, this team can finish 4th this season still, and certainly next season…..but we have a small squad, and when we lose key players like Lukaku we struggle….more games, means more injuries and tired players in the last third of the season when trophies are decided…that’s what the Europa league would bring.
And our squad won’t be much stronger next season…..our first 3 big signings in the summer will need to be keeping current players, Lukaku, Barry & Deulofeu….if we sign Lukaku & Barry permanent, that our transfer budget gone…

2009 was close to bieng brilliant, but in those 19 years, we have won nothing. So we have not been successfull

I went to Romania & Portugal and watched us have our pants pulled down. Europe is great for a session. But lets be honest, we would just be making up the numbers in the CL.

Dont get me wrong. I want to be in Europe. But its not the be all and end all....

I dont ever want to give up trying to win the cups.
