Wrong Kev mate. You mean @Kev The Rat.
Afraid I just can't get my head around that cryptocurrency crap. I'm still working in LSD (That's Pounds, Shillings and Pence, not the hallucinogenic type) Drugs are bad for you. Just say no kids.

A few pints of Guinness is OK like
apologies for the confusion mate

We ain't going to win the title, so our shots at glory lie in the cup competitions and our 'performances' in them have been absolutely pitiful since our 95 FA Cup win.

Our record in the League Cup is a complete shambles for starters. The fact we've never won it is nothing short of a disgrace when you look back through it's history and see the small clubs which have won it, even if it is a three-handled, tinpot, mickey mouse effort.

Mr Moyes has a lot to answer for when it comes to lack of silverware. He always said the league was his priority not the cups so it was no wonder he had the pathetic record of being in charge for nearly six years before he even got us to a quarter final of any cup competition.

I've no idea when we will break this barren run. It's a bad joke you need to be at least 27/28 to recall this club achieving anything. I was 8-11 during the mid-80s glory years so old enough to remember them so I just feel for the young fans who've seen nothing but mediocrity and a club which seems to have very little interest in winning things.

What happens next?

More of the same, plodding along making up the numbers, they'll be some good moments but generally it'll be the same as it has been for the last decades.

We are still the 4th most successful team in history - how long do you think that'll survive - about 6 titles ahead of Man City & Chelsea who obviously pose the biggest threat.

I think that we'll be overtaken in league titles and cup wins by those 2 before we win anything - even a cup - again.

chelsea already have a better history than us .

We need to actually take the League Cup seriously if we want to have a crack at breaking the drought.

If it was a "Mickey Mouse" competition, why did City try to win it when they clearly had an eye on the league and champions league anyway? Why did they send out their first team instead of "giving the kids a go"?

Because it's a trophy, and winning any trophy breeds confidence and gives players the big finale experience they'll need if they do make the champions league final or even a tighter title race.

For too long we've not valued it and clubs like Birmingham, Wigan, Swansea and Spurs have all won a trophy more recently than us because of it.

It's a very long way off. Standards are appallingly low and failure is tolerated. Nothing at this club is done in a professional and thorough manner like you see at trophy winning clubs.

If we win something in the next decade I'll be shocked.
I paid for club membership last summer and looked forward to watching the pre season friendlies and u23 games on a quality stream. From the first friendly game there were technical problems and last Monday I resorted to watching our home u23 game on the opposition's site as ours didn't work.
I havn't complained to the club once as I've learned that Evertonian life is one crushing defeat after another until you just wish Flanders was dead.
