I find this thread probably the saddest on the forum, seeing so many sth considering jibbing it off, but I cannot argue with a single person who is doing so, or their reasons, which are all valid.

I will renew for next season, I waited so long for the move and I want to see if things get better, but my desire to continue has definitely been tested.

I think it’s been a perfect storm of multiple factors which have given us this feeling:

The tenure process has proper crippled anything we had from Goodison, breaking up groups of mates etc - this will take a while to sort itself out via seat moves or just getting to know and warming up the misery holes now sitting near you.

The farcical transport plan put in place by the rs in chief and agreed by Everton isn’t fit for purpose - it just makes it hard for people to get to and from the ground, even fairly local fans it’s a chore.

The obscene number of fixture changes and night games - worse than painful.

Afcon, suspensions and injuries have took its toll on the squad, but that links to the poor handling of transfers over the summer - not good enough.

Var and the corruptness of the entire league is going to be the death of the game we love, it’s so so bad how it’s been implemented, but is now simply match fixing in plain sight.

The football is awful, boring, hoof and the multiple home hammerings by bang average teams has killed it for a good few people, BMD hasn’t really had its moment to shine stadium, aside from in flashes when the potential is clear. I love the new ground, she just needs time to get going.

Hopefully we can resolve the things under our control, which will markedly improve things, and pray that the other things resolve themselves in time.

I'll be renewing as always, however I currently don't have the same feeling towards games as I once did.

That's not to say I don't enjoy them, rather they're different to how they once were. I think the pre-game pints in town are my most favourable part.

Five night games in a row is appalling for any fan, but for fans with young children who have STs, it means my son can't/won't attend many if all of them.

Exactly this. Especially mid-winter - it's a pain getting to and from the ground. There seems to be no problem at all picking up tickets on resale, or even on Seat Unique if you're desperate. I'm about to put my seat on the resale site for the Leeds game and I'll be interested to see whether or not it sells. My Brentford ticket didn't, and I could see loads of empty seats at the Wolves game.
It would appear that a resale request to Everton doesn’t mean the ticket goes visible to potential buyers, if Everton still have general sale tickets the resale request is delayed.

I’ve just listed on GOT ticket sale thread, it requires buyer to be a member and you can name your price, less than the £70 the club would charge and nearer the ST match cost works.

Good lick, I’m in the same boat and 9/10 unlikely to renew.

The club could do no wrong to read this thread to be honest, Nathdogg summed up well.

Football has been pitiful for 5 years now, it takes its toll. But when you sap away everything you love about the match; sitting with your mates, your spot (which you cant get back due to Premium Seating, your routine, its tough.

As a PL football fan, you are very naive if you think youre anything but a customer, but its really been heightened since the move (to be expected).

Buy a membership, cant transfer ST, Cant get a physical card, £20 food options, couldn't view your seat prior to buying just had to rely on a 90 second video.

I can handle being crap (which we are)... I cant handle being a customer. We as fans mean nothing anymore.

I don’t spend much time on the club website, but does anyone know if they’ve said anything about this run of midweek night games? Apologised to the fans? Or even just acknowledged it?

these seats are available for the Bournemouth game.
with decent accessibility - not sure if the club will make them available to season ticket holders though for next season

Those were available to season ticket holders for this season. They were considered less desirable due to more people gravitating to the South end and the fact you could be displaced by away fans during cup games. You're right though, if your in Row 40+ of the South upper and having issues getting up and down if would make a sensible choice.

They'll just say it's got nothing to do with them, it would be good if the FAB ask if they have at least tried pushing back on all these midweek games, especially the Monday ones.

Spot on, give the ground time, I miss Goodison, ST in paddock for nearly 40yrs , so miss the banter and lads who where around us. I wouldn't know what to do without the match but know a few who are spewing it
