Ive paid £70 a pop on resale so i think not so many will take that option.
Im over 65 but there are no consessions on the resale site. I had to let my season ticket go a few years ago and i am currently on the waiting list.
Much as i realise that we had to move and some of the alternatives would have been a lot worse i am not really enjoying the match day experience but i think its a mixture of being homesick for Goodison and being set in my ways

I'll always support and care about this club, but the way the game has gone and is going kills me. Couldn't care less about the World Cup this summer. Stadiums full of people who see it as a day out to post about on Instagram rather than a passion.

The new ground, as fantastic as it is, doesn't really feel like Everton right now. That will hopefully change over time, but it's entirely normal for supporters to feel like we've lost a bit of our club. Goodison was one of the last standing relics to the past in top flight football; it feels like a line was firmly drawn in the sand when we left. Full steam ahead to ticket prices increases, membership requirements to buy resale tickets, Seat Unique and overpriced food and drink. To be honest, most of those things were going to happen anyway, but at Goodison maybe we had the illusion we were immune to them.

I hope over the years the new stadium allows us to compete at the top. It needs big moments and games so memories can be made to make it feel like home. If in 100 years time we've won 8 league titles, 5 FA Cups and 1 European trophy at this place then it'll be job done.

I travel from out of town which was never a problem at Goodison as I had a pre match routine, This season though I think we’ve only had three 3pm Sat kick off times. I just cant make the midweek and not gonna lie, it becomes a grind. You start questioning if it’s worth the travel and if I could maybe pick up resale for 3-4 matches a season I would look forward to these games and make a day / night of it, plus I could see other parts of the ground which I haven’t been able to do yet. Undecided, but likely won’t renew.
Exactly this. Especially mid-winter - it's a pain getting to and from the ground. There seems to be no problem at all picking up tickets on resale, or even on Seat Unique if you're desperate. I'm about to put my seat on the resale site for the Leeds game and I'll be interested to see whether or not it sells. My Brentford ticket didn't, and I could see loads of empty seats at the Wolves game.

I think you'd have to be naive to not think they wont take anything out? Theyre businessmen, not charities.

Ultimately, the decision to sell EFCW to Roundhouse ensured that Everton could receive further capital and expenditure.

The same negatives being thrown about by The Esk, aren't being asked of Boehly at Chelsea (other issues are there), or the Chiefs at Villa. The way I see it is, they sold the Women's Team, and then reclaimed it thus freeing up PSR money.

I never wanted to leave Goodison and wasn’t looking forward to BMD. It’s been a massive wrench and whilst we’ve got an incredibly good new home the logistics around it are a pain. As has been said it’s turned into an 8-9 hour stint each game with travel and actually getting in and out. That impacts lots of things especially family life.
The amount of night games has been ridiculous and just increases the hassle - it means leaving work early, sitting in traffic, not getting home until gone midnight on top of the high cost of parking and the walk to and from the city centre. We come from Stockport and it’s added an hour each way minimum to the journey if we drive. With the amount of night matches the train has become less of an option too.
The digital ticketing is an absolute ballache and doesn’t even operate as well as it did at Goodison.

On top of all that the football is so dull to watch and you’re sat with strangers on the whole so everything about your matchday routine has gone. Then there’s VAR and all the crap associated with that.
Totally get people deciding not to renew and it has crossed my mind, but I take the view that watching Everton is part of me so I’ll keep doing it for better or for worse whilst I’m still able to.

What really interests me is if it’s a particular age demographic who are most likely to not renew. I have a strong feeling it’ll be the 55-60 age group who’ve had +30 years of being STH’s.

My ST holder mate at Man Utd has been warned this. If miss games / sell 4 tickets your ST ticket is gone. Everton will catch on soon.
I think honestly 4 is a reasonable number. If you get a ST you should be commiting to going to every game. Obviously life comes up and there is alot of switching of fixtures which is an absolute pain. But i do feel that there should be some terms and conditions to stop the folk who buy a ST just go to the cat A games and flog the rest.
I think man utd are a different beast. It looks like at present we are not fully selling out for some games, folk have mentioned they have not managed to resell. So Everton maybe better at this time leaving it all well alone.
At the end of this season they will have very reliable data as to what the actual demand is for tickets and form a better stratergy going forward.

Newcastle do similar.

But if you are going to start saying you lose it if you miss 4 games, then there also needs to be a limit put on how many midweek games are allowed and there needs to be a set amount of Saturday 3pm games that cannot be moved. (Or at least some fight from the club who have a say in it).

We have had 3 Saturday 3pm home games out of 11 so far. And the next 4 have also been shifted. So that is 3 out of 15, with the final game of season also being a Sunday. I can virtually guarantee you that the remaining 3 will be moved (Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City). So we are likely to have only had 3 games at home at the standard time of 3pm Saturday. The most convenient time for fans, certainly fans that have to travel.

Completely agree... get a ST and you should be turning up to at least 80% of the games.... Not unreasonable if you are going to support your club.
